GIS / CAD Technician

This position is an opportunity to begin a career and develop new skills in the Electricity Industry.
Reporting to the Information Manager you will use manual and computerised systems to create, maintain and update GIS, database and graphical systems.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
• NCEA L3 with an emphasis on math, written English and information technology
• Competent in MS Office
• Drivers licence (full)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Analytical, process orientated with an eye for detail
• Strong organisational and customer service skills
• Diploma in GIS or CAD and Industry experience while not essential will be highly regarded

Eastech Line Mechanic Faultman
Eastech Ltd, part of the Eastland Group (which includes Eastland Network) is a field services contracting company.
We are seeking individuals to join the team based in Wairoa which provides 24 hours, 7 days a week network fault response and maintenance service in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
Ideally you will have previous lines company experience, Electrical or Line Mechanic Registration and a current practicing licence.
