Matt Todd
Chief Executive: Eastland Infrastructure Limited, Eastland Network Limited, Eastland Port Limited and Gisborne Airport
Matt Todd was appointed CEO of the Eastland group of companies when they were restructured in 2003. Immediately prior to joining the Eastland group of companies Matt worked for UnitedNetworks Limited for four years, the last two years as the General Manager of Group Operations. His 20 years experience in the utilities and infrastructure sector includes a number of senior roles with major players. Matt has worked in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, South America and the Pacific Islands. He was involved in the establishment of the Electricity Complaints Commission and was a board member of the Council of the Electricity Complaints Commission.
Andrew Gaddum
Sector General Manager - Logistics
Andrew graduated with a degree in environmental planning with a major in forestry, which he put to good use at Gisborne District Council and Fulton Hogan before heading to London for four years where he managed pivotal projects for National Railways and the London Underground. Once back in New Zealand he completed his masters in engineering management before coming home to Gisborne. At Eastland Group he is responsible for Eastland Port and the Cook Store operation – both dry and cold, heading a multi-talented team who love the variety and tests their day-to-day tasks toss at them. It's vital the team keep up with the growing demand on their services and that they have the company positioned in such a way that they are able to deliver to those evolving needs. For Andrew much of his job is about getting the best he can for the company, the business and the region.
Captain Rob Mitchell
Marine Operations Manager: Eastland Port Limited
Rob is a class 1 master mariner and pilot, with nearly 30 years experience in international shipping. His career has spanned all kinds of responsibilities and vessels, including captain of LPG tankers, offshore construction and supply vessels; marine surveyor; offshore rig mover; Great Barrier Reef pilot; and marine manager of a large offshore supply vessel fleet. This extensive experience makes him ideally suited to dealing with the issues and challenges of the Gisborne regions port. Currently, Rob is responsible for the regulatory and management functions of Eastland Port, whilst maintaining a hands-on involvement in piloting and port operations.
Jeremy King
Chief Financial Officer
Jeremy King joined Eastland Group in late 2008 to take up a job with plenty of variety at a time when the world was in a very testing financial situation. A qualified chartered accountant, Jeremy has worked in a number of different fields throughout his career, including energy, property, fund management and in general accounting. Just prior to joining Eastland Group he was finance manager for AMP Capital's largest property fund.
