Eastland Port is New Zealand's most easterly commercial port, situated in the heart of Gisborne city.
The port welcomes vessels exporting cargoes of logs, processed timber products, squash and kiwifruit from the international wharves and also handles visits from coastal vessels which include Royal NZ Navy ships, cement carriers and fishing vessels.
Log export volumes from Eastland Port have in recent years increased to over 1 million tones making the port the country’s second busiest log export port.
