Sunair
Sunair flys to the smaller north island destinations, including Rotorua, Hamilton, Tauranga, Palmerston North and Napier. Based in Tauranga, this airline operates scheduled daily flights. For further information click on www.sunair.co.nz
The self-claim baggage area is located outside, at the left hand end of the building, as you enter it from the tarmac. Baggage will be available a few minutes after you disembark from your plane.
Check in Procedures
Gisborne Airport has two scheduled airlines operating out of it – Air New Zealand and Sunair. Check in for both airlines takes place at the Air New Zealand check in facility, located directly through the main terminal entrance doors.
